Mind-set - is it really that important for weight loss?

Ok I'm not gonna waste anyone's time here building this up and making you wonder whether or not mind-set is actually important. The truth of the matter is that mind-set is not only important, it is the absolutely foundation of long term fat los success.

To consider this in depth, we need to talk about programming. What do I mean by this? Well, we're kind of talking about your subconscious here. This is where all of your programming is stored, and this is what is really driving all of your actions and decisions. It is your subconscious that will determine which path you take...whether thats towards long term weight loss or consistent rebound weight gain from dieting.

So where does this 'programming' come from? Well, essentially everything that we hear, everything that we say, everything that we do...will all be programs that are stored within our subconscious and this creates our beliefs. So, lets say you're told by people that diets don't work. You will then start to believe this yourself and will begin saying it to yourself with your own internal dialogue. All of this will add up to create this subconscious belief that dieting doesn't work.

Your beliefs will then be shaped into your attitudes and in this scenario you will begin to have a bad attitude towards dieting. Your attitudes will then be shaped into your feelings and these will determine the actions that you take. So if you don't have positive feelings towards dieting and weight loss then you will never be able to take the appropriate actions to lose weight and keep it off.

So everything therefore starts with how you are programmed. If you have struggled for years with your weight and have tried multiple diets without long term success then you can be sure that your programming is not supporting you, but holding you back.

As the saying goes, 'what you believe you will achieve'. This is completely true but it works in both ways. So if your beliefs, which are created by your programming, are not right for long term weight loss, you will achieve just that - a failure to achieve this goal.

When it comes down to it, your mind-set is really the foundation of everything. Not only with regards to your weight, but literally everything both positive and negative in your life. Most dieters completely underestimate the importance of mind-set in achieving a permenent weight loss result, and they do so to their peril. So what can you do about this? Why you'll always rebound with your weight if you don't detox properly

You're looking to lose weight for good, right? You're not keen on fluctuation up and down with your weight all of the time, struggling day in and day out to maintain any results for good.

No-one is going to go out and say that they want to lose weight only in the short term. They're not going to say that they want to 'lose weight for a while and then pile it all back on again'. Nope, anyone who has a problem with their weight wants a permanent solution. The problem is, most people have no idea what that solution is.

Most people, however, think they do know what the solution really is. They think its another miracle diet plan thats going to provide the results they crave. They think that they're going to start eating healthily all of a sudden and manage to keep that going forever. In fact, even if they could do this...which the vast majority can't...it still wouldn't be enough.

Nope, not gonna happen. I'm sorry to announce that only about 1 in 200 people end up losing weight and keeping it off for good from dieting alone. Not good odds for anyone and the chances are pretty high you're going to be one of the 199...no the 0.5 per cent minority!

What you may also not know is that detoxing is essential if you want to lose weight for good. Why? Well let me briefly tell you.

Toxins are all over the place. They're in our foods, in the air, in our beauty products, in our cleaning products...they are everywhere. When you ingest these toxins into the body through food, through your skin, and so on, they get stored in the fat cells. Obviously this toxic build-up isn't great for the body and it is our fat that helps to protect our nervous system and organs from these toxins....not great if these toxins are stored in the fat!

Yep, we all need some fat around our organs and nervous system as protection. And the more toxic we are, the more protection we're going to need. So, when you go on a diet and your fat cells get smaller, you're actually making yourself more toxic.

Hoe does this happen?

Well, because the toxins are stored in our fat cells, so as they get smaller, and the toxins remain, you end up becoming more toxic. Not good, right?

The way that the body responds to this higher concentration of toxicity is to actually go into fat production mode to help protect the organs and nervous system. So you end up putting on the fat you have just lost as a defence mechanism against the toxins in your fat cells.

This is one of the main reasons why you may well have suffered from rebound weight gain before. Unless you reduce the toxicity in your fat cells, you're not going to be able to lose that fat and keep it off.
